Very good restaurant, for once you don't smell industrial, the flavors are authentic and the dishes are well served with a variety of vegetables. Rediscover the pleasure of this cuisine without the eternal taste of canned sauce but of homemade preparation. Friendly and helpful staff, nice menu and the only downside is that the seats are uncomfortable. Being a neighbor, living across the street, I always come to get it. All the dishes are excellent and very abundant, so excellent value for money. The service is provided by a very kind and accommodating family. The prices are more than fair. I myself have been a restaurateur for 1 year and I know the problem of discount offers (between 30 and 50%) such as TheFork and the Passeport Gourmand that the current market imposes on us to remain competitive, which at the same time penalize us in our margins (especially small establishments) already weakened by Covid (which changed customer habits). Deploring the refusal of a gourmet passport or other is just deploring not being able to get a good restaurant if possible at half price. Too bad if the owner sells without earning anything after having deducted all charges for merchandise, rent, personnel, electricity, etc. I have seen, at home, the lack of respect for our work go so far as to receive orders reduced to 50% by asking for a carafe of tap water (Now our posted regulations impose paid consumption per person). I had to let out a scream. Half of the restaurants in Lausanne have been on the verge of bankruptcy since Covid. The race for discounts only speeds up the process. Thai Square is a young company that does very good work. As they say in English: keep up the good job!
