As Iranians, we often miss the familiar tastes, flavors, and decorations of home when abroad. Recently, I had lunch with friends at Shiraz restaurant, an authentic Iranian spot. From the moment we entered, the warm and friendly atmosphere made us feel right at home, surrounded by traditional Iranian décor. The highlight of our meal was the traditional kebab. My favorite is "Barg," but I also tried "Koobideh" and "Bakhtiyari." All were well-cooked and served with fresh, warm bread baked on the spot. Finding Iranian bread was a pleasant surprise !!!!! Additionally, tasting Mirza ghasemi with smoked aubergines and garlic, a traditional dish from the north of Iran, was the best part. We complemented our meal with homemade "Doogh" (Iyran) prepared by the chef. Its refreshing taste perfectly balanced the robust flavors of the kebab. For those new to Iranian cuisine, café restaurant Shiraz is the perfect place to discover authentic flavors, especially the exquisite taste of saffron. I can conclude that this restaurant offers a delightful taste of Iranian cuisine with fresh ingredients and a welcoming atmosphere, making it ideal for birthdays, gatherings, or even work meetings.
