I tried both the vegetarian and meat options, and they were both excellent. Definitely recommended! The staff were great too

Interesting Concept, Disappointing Food I visited Tenz Momo Zürich Oerlikon Bahnhof for dinner. At first glance, the concept seemed quite interesting—a Tibetan fast-food eatery. It immediately sparked my curiosity. I even found myself wondering, "Would the Dalai Lama eat here?" Wanting to try something different, I ordered a mixed platter of their dumplings, along with a salad and a cold tea. The two ladies at the counter were very friendly and helpful. Since I don't speak the local language, one of them kindly explained the different fillings and ingredients in each type of dumpling. I took my tray and sat down, genuinely excited for a new culinary experience. Unfortunately, that excitement quickly faded. The first dumpling I tried had a very thick dough that seemed almost undercooked. The filling tasted like a mass-produced, frozen product rather than something freshly prepared. I tried several other varieties, hoping for a better impression, but they were consistently doughy, bland, and lacking flavor. I ended up leaving most of the dumplings unfinished. The salad was acceptable, though nothing memorable. The iced tea was extremely sweet, which may appeal to some people but wasn't to my taste. Overall, this was a disappointing dining experience, especially considering the price. Spending around CHF 30 for a meal that I could barely finish felt hard to justify. While the staff were welcoming and professional, the food simply did not meet my expectations.
