We went to Sim Sim for Friday dinner, and overall it was a really lovely dining experience. It gets quite busy, so definitely plan aheadāI booked four to five days in advance and took the only slot left, which worked out fine for our evening. The interior is charming and thoughtfully designed. You can tell they put real care into the atmosphere, from the lovely tableware right down to the custom-made napkins. The staff were wonderful: the ladies taking care of our table were warm, very welcoming, and spoke excellent English, which made everything easy and pleasant. The food was flavorful and well prepared. We started with a mixed appetizer platter to share, followed by a few individual mezze dishes and shawarma. Everything tasted authentic and freshāso much so that we ended up ordering slightly too much food because we wanted to try a bit of everything. My only real critique is the coffee at the end of the meal. It definitely fell flat compared to the quality of the food. Investing in a proper coffee machine would easily solve that and elevate the whole finishing touch of dinner. That said, itās a great neighborhood spot in Oerlikon with delicious food, nice ambiance, and friendly service. Well worth a visit! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
