This is my newly discovered favorite restaurant in Kuesnacht. The lake view is amazing, the interior very cosy and elegant, food excellent and the service wonderful. The welcome sign on the door is meant literally. I'll be back. Love, Barbara Bullock, spiritual writer.

Seerestaurant Steinburg is the best gastronomic surprise I had in months. We were expecting good and stylish food but would never imagined the quality level we witnessed last night. From the street the building is typical Swiss and in spring, the wisteria is embellishing it with its fragrant flowers. We were placed in the veranda to enjoy the lake view in the sunset. That was quite a good start. The wine selection is made with love and perfect knowledge. Finding not very expensive wines with right vintage with very affordable price up to the classic names. The slow cooked egg is not to be missed. It is an absolute wonder. The delicacy and inventivity of the dish is truely amazing. I don t want to say too much, just go for it. As it is a seasonal dish, don t delay your visit too much. After the starter, I had the sole to share. Sole is normally "easy" to cook and most chefs don t pay a lot of attention to this delicate fish. But once again, here is another story. It is cooked perfectly, the seasoning is light but present and well balanced. The baerlauch risotto was a lovely discovery. Desserts are just reaching the same level of quality and creativity. The 5 courses degustation menu is a perfect way to discover the creativity of the chef. Service was discrete, smily and efficient. Congratulations to all the team for opening the restaurant. I wish you all the best and hope you ll get all the success you deserve. Looking forward to come back !
