Personale cordiale e gentile, pronto a consigliarti per un’esperienza gourmet che permette di raggiungere il giusto compromesso tra qualità e prezzo. Pizza dall’impasto perfettamente lievitato e dal gusto autentico. Location insolita e degna di nota. Un particolare ringraziamento a Davide, cameriere che ha reso ancor più piacevole l’esperienza gastronomica. This relatively new pizzeria in Napoli, just a block off of the carnavalesque Via dei tribunali, offers delicious pizza and excellent service in a beautiful 2nd floor room of an old church with a vaulted ceiling (hence the name) and a relaxed atmosphere. Once we tried it, Pizza Santissima was our go-to place for pizza. Our waitress was efficient, friendly, and helpful-- and she indulged my attempts to speak Italian with patience and humor. When my sister arrived the second night feeling dizzy, our waitress quickly brought several bottles of water and then suggested sugar (an Italian panacea). See the picture below of the happy outcome. (The napkin they hold refers to what messy pizza eaters we were.) One of the brothers/ owners spoke with us after our last dinner and exuded enthusiasm for his new undertaking. Enclosed within the walls of the city, a symbol of tradition and art, "santissima pizza" was born. Wow... what can I say... phantasmagorical place seems to be already in the afterlife... dishes out of the ordinary... with my girlfriend (Emanuela) we traveled with your decomposed parmigiana... do we want to talk about the pizzas? They have to make that pizza chef a saint... I was tempted to have him called to shake his hand... We are used to eating pizzas with not so refined class, I will come again also because the prices are very affordable Location for true art enthusiasts, I remember that it is a deconsecrated church so there is an atmosphere inside that takes you back to the time of Jesus like the last supper but this time based on pizza!
