Very simple bar with mediocre cocktails. The whiskey sour is not properly made with egg whites and the cocktail cherry in it says enough, yet costs 15.50 CHF. We did much appreciate the nibbles. The outdoor seating in the alley is a bit sad and not very comfortable, especially if the next table over has a chain smoker. The place has location and opportunity, but I probably won't return. Perhaps it's more enjoyable if you are simply looking for a beer. In response to the owner: I respectfully disagree regarding checking the ingredients of a classic cocktail. By contrast, Rooftop serves a magnificent Kentucky Slushy (a twist on a Boston Sour) for 17 CHF. I understand that cocktails in the city center are going to be pricy, but I cannot reasonably give Rössli Bar a better review based on our experience.

Dear Guest, thank you for your rating, we are always striving to become better. Regarding the Cocktails, i remeber you choose from our drinks menu, you saw there the ingredieces (no eggwhite) and also the price..... Please let us know next time, of you prefer a different recept as in our menu. We don’t agree by the price. We think in the heart of old town, 15.50 for a Whisky sour and 16.50 for a Painkiller are a very good and fair price. Dear Guest Thank you for your supplement. Said for us, that we couldn‘t satisfy you. We respect your opinion and we striving to become better.
