We had a great lunch here. The food was amazing and the staff are very welcoming. The highlight was all the free toys and activities for my 5 year old son. They have trampolines, free foosball table, a pedal powered go-cart, and other toys. You do have to pay separately for mini golf. Be prepared to spend between 30 and 40 chf on lunch per adult.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience at River Lounge tonight. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. Without a doubt, this was the best meal we’ve had during our entire trip. Bonus points: I watched the staff pick fresh mint for our Hugo Spritz right from the garden which made them that much better. Highly recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

River Lounge was one of our favorite experiences in Lauterbrunnen. The food was absolutely delicious, but what really made it special was the setting and family-friendly atmosphere. Traveling with children, we were thrilled to find fun activities for the kids, including a trampoline and little ride-on cars that kept them entertained while we relaxed and enjoyed the incredible scenery. Mini golf is also available. The views are spectacular, with waterfalls cascading down the cliffs around the valley and the sound of the rushing river right beside the restaurant. After spending the afternoon walking the beautiful paths through Lauterbrunnen, there was nothing better than sitting outside, surrounded by mountains, taking in the scenery, and enjoying a wonderful meal. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, yet the setting feels truly special. Food: we enjoyed the chicken farmer's plate salad and the farmers pita. Our girls had the crispy fish and said it was delicious as well. If you’re visiting Lauterbrunnen with your family, River Lounge is absolutely worth a visit.
