It was a mild autumn evening in Zurich when I decided to visit the Zafferano restaurant. The scent of the Limmat was in the air and the city was getting ready to welcome the last rays of sunshine of the day. Behind the town hall, in a quiet corner, I found the pretty restaurant that blended harmoniously into the picturesque surroundings. Upon entering Zafferano, I was immediately greeted by the charming Chef de Service, who seated me at my table with a friendly smile. The atmosphere was inviting and the dining room shone with bright light that made the lovingly furnished tables shine. Here I immediately felt the care and dedication with which this restaurant is run. An open kitchen area gave me a reassuring glimpse into the creative work of the chefs, which only further strengthened my confidence in the quality of the food. The selection on the menu was impressive - it ranged from traditional dishes to modern creations and catered for all budgets. I had a feeling that everyone would find something to please their taste buds here. The staff was not only competent, but also incredibly friendly and humorous. They managed to create a casual atmosphere that made the evening even more enjoyable. My food didn't take long to arrive and when it was served I was immediately impressed. The taste was simply heavenly – every ingredient seemed perfectly balanced and the presentation was a real feast for the eyes. But it wasn't just the food that was a delight; Even the small details were well thought out, because even the toilets were clean and tastefully decorated, which is often neglected in many restaurants. Time flew by and when I finally left Zafferano, I had not only enjoyed delicious food but also had an unforgettable experience.
