Where do I start? But from the most important thing: the kitchen. Don't expect the classic Westernized Chinese restaurant (without taking anything away from those who created a cuisine - which I love anyway - capable of aligning itself with flavors more suited to us). Tang is a restaurant that takes you not to generic China but directly to Sichuan, where as in any self-respecting south there is no lack of that excellent marriage between umami and spiciness. Tang cuisine is rich in flavors and spiciness shouldn't be scary because it's not everywhere, in fact the balance between spicy and non-spicy dishes is perfect. Here you are in a real regional restaurant and even the dishes respect the traditions of the place they represent. You will therefore find particular combinations with lesser-known spices and the use of countless even surprising cuts of meat (but I won't give spoilers and I invite you to be tempted by the novelty). And the portions? Adequate and plentiful with a high quality-price ratio. Environment? Everything new and modern. There is no smell coming from the kitchen, the toilets are very clean and the environment, even when very crowded, is not at all chaotic. Service? The staff is very kind and ready to accommodate every customer request, giving explanations on the composition of the dishes and always keeping the table tidy and clean. I waited for my fourth visit to this restaurant before putting the review because I had glimpsed the 5 stars. And I confirm them all because to eat well sometimes you can go either to a starred restaurant or to the little place that has been recommended to you but when you realize that you are not just eating but having an experience then every meal has that something extra and is nice to find it also from those who offer regional ethnic cuisine. Parking: After 6pm, street parking is free in this area. It is an area where you can easily find a seat even near the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: The menu is extremely varied and there is something even for the little ones. Wheelchair accessibility: There are no height differences to overcome. The interior is large and there is enough space between one table and another. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free street parking, Paid street parking
