Lunedì sera, prenotiamo per 3 alle 21.15...arriviamo alle 21.30. Ambiente piccolo, chiuso, in zona artigianale. Locale pieno per essere lunedì sera, buon segno! Il rimbombo delle voci dei commensali non è gradevole. Aspettiamo un quarto d'ora, prima di poter ordinare...uno spaghetto all'astice, due tartare di tonno con avocado capperi e agrumi e una bottiglia di vermentino (ci raccomandiamo che sia gelato oppure suaglass con abbondante ghiaccio). Arriva il vino, caldo! Chiediamo nuovamente il suaglass; ci avvolgono la bottiglia con una ghiaccina in plastica...il vino rimane caldo! Peccato! Passano 45 minuti e arriva la tartare di tonno, avocado e...pesche! Agrumi inesistenti, capperi tantomeno! Spaghetto all'astice ok, buono e abbondante! Qualità dei prodotti alta; piatti comunque molto buoni! Ordiniamo due dolci, anch'essi molto buoni! Conto totale poco più di 90€. Potenzialità alte, in cucina sanno lavorare bene e si vede. La sala gestita non al massimo e cura del dettaglio purtroppo non all'altezza della cucina! Ritornerò comunque, sperando di poter dare almeno una stella in più! È la seconda volta che ci andiamo, questa volta a cena, volevamo dargli una seconda possibilità, dopo l'esperienza passata, non visti i tempi d'attesa imbarazzanti. Purtroppo è andata male anche questa volta, siamo entrati alle 21, venti minuti prima di prendere la comanda. L'antipasto, un tagliere di salumi arriva dopo altri 25 minuti, poi nuovamente una pausa lunghissima prima dei primi, arrivati alle 22.30, abbiamo rinunciato al dolce, ormai stanchi di stare seduti, Quasi due ore per un tagliere e due pastasciutte mi sembra troppo. La sala non era piena e noi eravamo solo in due, siamo usciti alle 23. Mi dispiace perché i piatti erano buoni. Outstanding cuisine and warm service - recommended despite the location and ambience I had the pleasure of visiting Ristorante Al Peco in Oristano and was pleasantly surprised by my experience. After getting curious about the many positive reviews, I decided to let the restaurant convince me. First of all, I would like to stress that you should not be put off by the location and ambience of the restaurant. Although Ristorante Al Peco is located in a less crowded area and the ambiance is rather simple, this impression is definitely made up for by the gastronomic highlights. The manager and at the same time waitress of the restaurant turned out to be extremely friendly and attentive. I found it easy to communicate with her in German, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The menu is manageable, but I was impressed by the varied selection of seasonal and Sardinian dishes. This underscores the quality of the ingredients and the restaurant's dedication to regional cuisine. I chose the seafood appetizer platter and was not disappointed. The presentation was appealing and the taste of each dish was excellent. It was obvious that fresh and quality ingredients were used here. The main dishes and the house wine were also convincing. Although the selection was modest, the attention to detail and high level of cooking was reflected in every bite. The house wine rounded off the meal perfectly and harmonized well with the dishes served. Overall, the Ristorante Al Peco made a positive impression on me. The quality of the food and the service one experiences here are undoubtedly the main reasons to visit. If you're willing to look past the location and ambiance, you'll be rewarded with a culinary experience that will be remembered for a long time. Therefore, I award four stars and recommend the restaurant to all gourmets and lovers of Sardinian cuisine. Parking: The parking situation directly in front of the restaurant is extremely convenient, as there are sufficient parking spaces. Guests can be happy that they can easily park in the immediate vicinity of the Ristorante Al Peco, which makes the visit even more pleasant. The availability of parking spaces certainly contributes to making the journey to the restaurant comfortable and stress-free.
