Had lunch here with my wife and two friends during the heatwave in June 2026. The location is exceptional. Service is good. However... paying 49 Swiss Francs for filets de perche which turns out to be overcooked and dry is not really OK. A friend had fish & chips, although I warned her that this is something you should never ever order outside the UK (at least not in the French-speaking part of the world). True, the fish was the exact same rectangular slab of cod (?) encapsulated in a thin layer of batter, clearly a pre-fabricated oversize fish finger, that you'll get in any French language establishment. Made me want to go home and prep my own proper beer batter... I'm sort of expecting a bit more in a place like this, even though the atmosphere is great, overlooking the lake. I'm getting old and grumpy (I've always been grumpy, to be honest). I hope this place bumps up the cuisine a bit, rely a bit less on prefab stuff, and (most importantly) learn how to cook Filets de Perche meunière in a proper way. I recommend the Auberge in Vernier as a model establishment for this menu item, by the way. Good vibes, a bit slow with the drinks, and rather mediocre food, steeply priced.
