Servizio lento bicchieri sporchi per un poco di pane 10fr in più non tornerò . Capisco 45fr per tre gin tonic ma 12fr +10fr per un piccolo aperitivo e una richiesta di pane non lo accetto. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: CHF 30–40

First place you arrive at when biking from nearby France, as I did on a whim a couple of weeks ago. Nicely located on the waterfront, meaning you can watch the local rich kids indulge in water sports (provided they find a spot to park their Porsches or BMW's first). Ordered filets de perche (what else?), which were served appropriately on a large plate, with a salad, fries and remoulade (I insist on using this word; others would maybe call it mayonnaise sauce). The quality and taste were good, not dry or tough like another place I recently reviewed. However... and this is truly my one negative comment: the single glass of white wine I ordered arrived tempered. As in "around 20 degrees Celsius". Not really what you would expect. I admit: I should have complained, and they would surely have exchanged it for a properly cool glass of wine, but then... Overall, probably worth the price of a meal, and the service was pleasant enough. Apart from that little drink detail. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

A true gem by the lake! Restaurant du Lac in Versoix is a wonderful spot, especially if you’re a fan of filet de perches. Having tried almost all the filet de perches around this area, we can confidently say this is one of the best. The fish is perfectly cooked, beautifully fresh, served in a generous portion. We had a starter which is the velouté and it really elevates the dish. The location is fantastic—right by the lake—and the service is genuinely friendly and welcoming. Parking is available right next to the restaurant. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CHF 40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
