Servizio lento bicchieri sporchi per un poco di pane 10fr in più non tornerò . Capisco 45fr per tre gin tonic ma 12fr +10fr per un piccolo aperitivo e una richiesta di pane non lo accetto. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: CHF 30–40

We had a wonderful dining experience at Restaurant du Lac. The setting is beautiful, with a peaceful terrace that creates the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing evening. The meal started with fresh, creamy hummus served with warm bread, followed by a delicious baked burrata cheese with honey that was beautifully presented and full of flavor. For the main courses, the fish was perfectly cooked, juicy, and served with crispy fries and a flavorful sauce. The beef fillet was tender, cooked exactly as requested, and accompanied by fresh green beans, fries, and herb butter that complemented the meat perfectly. The service was warm, attentive, and professional throughout the evening, making us feel genuinely welcome. Every dish was well presented, and the quality of the ingredients was evident. A fantastic restaurant with excellent food, a lovely atmosphere, and great service. We will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable meal by the lake. First place you arrive at when biking from nearby France, as I did on a whim a couple of weeks ago. Nicely located on the waterfront, meaning you can watch the local rich kids indulge in water sports (provided they find a spot to park their Porsches or BMW's first). Ordered filets de perche (what else?), which were served appropriately on a large plate, with a salad, fries and remoulade (I insist on using this word; others would maybe call it mayonnaise sauce). The quality and taste were good, not dry or tough like another place I recently reviewed. However... and this is truly my one negative comment: the single glass of white wine I ordered arrived tempered. As in "around 20 degrees Celsius". Not really what you would expect. I admit: I should have complained, and they would surely have exchanged it for a properly cool glass of wine, but then... Overall, probably worth the price of a meal, and the service was pleasant enough. Apart from that little drink detail. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
