Visited Turbinenhaus because of all the good reviews. Must say that overall the experience was quite disappointing. When we arrived we were asked the usual question about whether we had reserved a table or not. Half of the place was empty, but still the waiter receiving us had to check if he could fit in 2 people. Sure thing, no big deal. When the place keeps being half empty throughout your entire stay, you of course wonder why they have to put on this totally pointless show reservation nonsense though.We had to wait 1.5 hours to get our food. Our waitress was kind enough to once apologize for a queue in the kitchen, so that is was all fine. But after having finished our meals, we again had to wait for 30 min to get our bill which just is too much. There were not at all that many people attending, and we saw other guests having to wait even longer and complaining about it.The food itself is not bad, but neither is it very special. Typical food that didn't leave you with any specific memory at all. It is expensive though. The restaurant has a lovely location and the setting is very nice. Unfortunately the extremely long waiting time and overpriced food will keep me from ever going there again.
