We had dinner with friends this evening. Everything was perfect. The food (Cordon Bleu and Geschnetzeltes) as well as dessert were very good. The recommended white wine from Ticino for the aperitif was top class! We particularly enjoyed the unobtrusive but perfect service. Thank you very much and see you soon! On October 18, 24 I was at a birthday dinner. It seemed to be a bit more upscale. The tartare for the starter was absolutely successful and recommended. The lamb fillet, however, was really disappointing as it was very tough. The fries we ordered were forgotten. After asking, there was no apology and even though they said they were coming straight away, I had finished 3/4 of my meal due to the long wait again until the waiter, without saying a word and walking quickly past, put down the fries, which were also over salted. I actually wanted to say something to him but he scurried away without making eye contact. When I paid I was then able to state my concerns. Without facial expressions and curtly, he said it wouldn't happen again. No apology, just nothing. In general, we weren't asked whether the food was good, which is normal in every "restaurant". If I pay 85 francs for dinner with drinks, I should expect slightly better quality meat and better service. My daughter's deer medallion was also too tough. Both types of meat are tender types of meat. Unfortunately for me it was the first and last time, which is a shame because I liked the atmosphere.
