Esperienza splendida a Zurigo. La posizione è ottima e comoda con i mezzi. Le stanze sono pulite ed il personale gentile. Buona anche la colazione. Ci tornerò sicuramente

Piccolo Hotel di modesto livello, privo di aria condizionata, relativamente centrale e ottomamente servito dai mezzi pubblici, con camere essenziali ma pulite e ordinate. Potrebbe corrispondere a un due stelle italiano, ma é classificato tre stelle. Circa 160 € a notte per una camera doppia. Molto a confronto con un Hotel italiano, ma siamo a Zurigo. Colazione discreta.

Hotel Neufeld offered a very comfortable base for a two night stay in Zurich, while being conveniently located for central Zurich on the Number 14 tram connecting the central railway station. The room was reasonably priced, clean, and offered most of the essentials. Though it didn't come with its own iron or kettle, tea and coffee-making equipment - along with water, microwave, a selection of sweet jars, and left-over croissants/bread rolls from breakfast - were available for guests to help themselves in the reception area. I also thought I heard someone ask at reception if they could borrow an iron(?). Worth double-checking if you're booking for a business trip. Arranged over several floors, there is a small lift available for those hauling heavy luggage, or unable to manage stairs. The beds were comfortable, and the shower/toilet were again clean though on the smaller size. The one drawback to our room was that the walls between rooms were thin, meaning conversation could be heard from next door. We paid for breakfast to be included in the price, and we were very glad we did. An excellent, delicious and varied continental spread - served from 7am-10.30am - set us up perfectly ahead of full days out exploring. The service was attentive and helpful, too. After breakfast, the restaurant opens for lunch (not tried on this stay), but not for dinner. Reception was helpful, providing answers to any questions I had, including about the local area and getting around on public transport, and happily supplying an extra pillow, and storing our bags for a couple of hours after we'd checked out. The reception desk is staffed until 9.30pm, after which, guests use their room keys to open the front door. While those looking for a luxury experience might choose to look elsewhere, those seeking good value, comfort and convenience won't go wrong booking here. We'll happily stay again if visiting Zurich in the future. Service: 5
