Rooms are great considering the price and location. However the receptionist only speaks german (There was no receptionist when we check in and we have to use the phone they provided to call her.) so the communication might be a bit difficult but overall its a great option with limited budget Rooms: 4 Service: 3 Location: 5

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in, there is no check-in service via telephone and with unclear instructions you have to say your name and that you have arrived, then they give you the key to your room, which are all at hand. The room was a horror from 50 years ago, it did have views of the Matterhorn but come on... like many places in Zermatt (which by the way is horrible compared to the beautiful towns that Switzerland has) and very expensive. I wouldn't recommend it even to my worst enemy, the only hotel I stayed in without breakfast service, in fact there were no options. Very shabby. The shower did not even have a curtain, there was no shampoo or bath gel (it is a hotel I insist) it did not even have enough to keep the shower on the wall!!!! But what nonsense this is. Horrible, horrible. I attach the photo of the disgusting breakfast that I had to buy in the supermarket below. Oh and the terrace with the rotting wood.
