Best schnitzel I've ever had - as I insisted on telling the owners over and over again! I've had plenty in my time but this was just brilliant. The cordon bleu was great as well, but over a month on and I'm still dreaming of that schnitzel. We hiked up to this brilliant restaurant for dinner one evening and I can back what many other reviews have said. The food is delicious, and everything feels local, homemade and authentic. The views over the valley are stunning and we enjoyed a beautiful sunset sat outside. The owner is wonderful. Be aware there is no English menu but I hope non-native speakers attempt a little German as she was not fluent in English herself - I tried my best (my German is very broken) and she was wonderfully polite and accommodating (I disagree with other reviews who have said there was any sense of rudeness - you have to meet half-way!). This feels like a little gem in the mountains - the sort of place locals will know about and tourists should make the effort to find. For a brilliant dinner with a view - and again, can't recommend the schnitzel enough - then please pay Marmorbruch a visit. One of my favourite meals in 2 weeks of travelling the whole of Switzerland, and a handy location if visiting the nearby glacier canyon. Highly, highly recommend!
