Pfingstegg is a nice place to spend a couple of hours if you’re visiting Grindelwald. We took the cable car up and enjoyed the views over the mountains and valley. At the top, you can try the summer toboggan run or the Fly-Line, and there is a café where you can sit, relax, and enjoy the scenery. We decided to walk back down, which was a pleasant experience. The round-trip cable car ticket costs around 32 CHF, which felt a bit expensive as there isn’t a huge amount to do at the top apart from the attractions and the views.

Easy to get tickets Friendly staff and fast ride up. View is nice and if you like trekking can do that as well. Suitable for family with young kids . They have a playgrounds. For bonus fun rides they have fly line 4yo onwards . The slide is the most fun even for adults. We tried to buy digital pictures and we got the wrong photo. The staff help to pay and turns out we keyed the wrong number. The staff just smiled without annoyance. Thumbs up! Did I mention you do not need to queue for 2 hours ? Unlike Grindelwald first. Not even 5 mins to queue. Less crowded less stress. Give this place a go!
