Bellissimo ristorante dove si mangia benissimo che si trova appena entrati nella città vecchia. Da qui si ha un panorama meraviglioso su Gallipoli, le ampie vetrate ti permettono di vedere il mare, il porto, il castello, il Rivellino il ponte seicentesco, il grattacielo, ecc... I proprietari sono persone eccezionali, gentilissime e molto accoglienti e professionali. La cucina è espressa e si possono mangiare anche i credi di mare. Il questo locale si può mangiare anche o solo un gelato o un dolce o bere qualcosa! Consiglio! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €30–40

Blatant Tourist Scam – BEWARE! Stopped by Portaterra Restaurant & Lounge Bar today for something simple: 2 scoops of ice cream, 1 lemon soda, and 1 limoncello. The bill came out to a ridiculous €31.50. I paid, but something felt off. I asked for the receipt — and surprise: The actual total was just €13. When I pointed it out, the cashier casually said, “Oh, must’ve been a mistake.” Really? A “mistake” that just happens to charge a tourist almost 3 times the correct amount? This wasn’t an accident. This is a scam. Period. I had to push to get my money refunded — but how many people don’t notice and just walk away? Avoid this place. Always ask for your receipt and check your bill carefully. Looks fancy on the outside, but what’s happening at the register is disgraceful. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: €10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We find it extremely unfair — and damaging — to label an isolated mistake as an intentional fraud, especially without any proof beyond your own interpretation.
