We only stayed at the Pollux for one night to connect with the Glacier Express. But the experience was so great, I needed to write this review. The hotel is located on the main street and near the train station. At every level, the experience exceeded our expectations...especially the incredible staff. We had an issue with leaving behind valuable personal items. They found them and went out of their way to get them to us at our next destination. When Fedex messed up the delivery, they worked out a refund and got it to us. Honestly, this is superb service and we would stay no where else in Zermatt!

Great location, albeit noisy as it’s on the Main Street. Bring earplugs. Bar and restaurant have a cool, distinctly Swiss feel. Staff are friendly, breakfast is good, especially the small pots of coffee that are well appreciated first thing in the am. Mattresses are a bit too soft for my liking and the pillows are very thin. But now I’m nit-picking. Overall great

I had a really positive experience with Hotel Pollux. The staff were accommodating and responsive with great communication. They were understanding of my situation and made a genuine effort to help, which I truly appreciated. Overall, a great level of service and hospitality. Also, the restaurant had amazing food!!
