Arrived at 7:30 p.m., empty window. No activity in the pizzeria, ovens off... very strange. We still order 2 pizzas to take away. 1 girl goes shopping, the other wants us to pay upfront... We refuse and leave, because in all the pizzerias in Sicily we paid once the pizzas were made despite what she told us. And we did well, because the second person probably wanted to scam us! 1 star for the kitchen, even if we didn't try it. And without regret... The Pizzeria Rustichella makes the pizza so good that I can't imagine that there is a special pizzeria in Sicily. The pizza is nice and thin and melts in your mouth. I love pizza and have eaten many, but pizza is really in a whole different league. The team is often a bit hectic but always warm. Sometimes you have to wait a little longer for your pizza, but it's worth it. If you want to go to Palermo, you should definitely try pizza. Absolute recommendation!!! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €1–10
