My daughter found this gem of a place, and we ate there 3 times in June 2026. Very close to Roma Termini, but without the noise. A small place, with a few tables and chairs inside and out, AND a a great variety of food, of good quality, and of very good value for money. Most dishes we had were all under 10 euros. The kebabs and and stews were amazing, and if what you want was not on the menu they will try the best to make it. The owner is very friendly and easy to talk to, and offers a wealth of knowledge about Rome. I needed 1 nights' accommodation in August for our return back to Australia. The Pizzeria-Ristorante Cartage Food owner said he knew the owner of the hotel across the street, and introduced me to him. What a lucky find for us, we had dinner, then shortly afterwards looked at a room a hotel and booked it... I would highly recommend the food and the friendly owner and his staff that work at Pizzeria-Ristorante Cartage Food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
