Today I was charged around €48 for just three slices of pizza at this place in Rome. When I asked why the bill was so high, the seller simply replied, “This is Rome. Everything is expensive here.” What was even more frustrating was that it seemed like English-speaking tourists were being charged much higher prices than Italian-speaking customers. I watched local customers pay significantly less for their pizza. During my trip, I’ve eaten at several well known and much better restaurants in Rome, and I never paid anything close to this amount. If this pricing was intentional it feels more like a modern day tourist scam than fair business practice. My advice to anyone visiting Romealways check the prices before ordering and keep your receipt. Be careful not to fall into the same trap. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €40–50

A scam! It was a horrible expierence, they didn’t let us chose how big we wanted our pieces and didn’t listen to us, they forced us to pay so much and weren’t polite. Don’t go there!
