The Palmaria Restaurant, located in Porto Venere, boasts a magnificent view of the village and Palmaria Island. It’s about 50 meters from the small port where the ferries leave for Cinque Terre and the other magnificent towns of the Ligurian Riviera di Levante. Palmaria Restaurant wants to represent an opportunity for the entire area, a true hub of gastronomic culture, capable of generating new ideas and attracting different experiences. Following local tradition, but with an open eye towards the horizon outlined by our beautiful sea, the gourmet treat of Palmaria is intended to be a point of arrival for different cultures.

The preference for light cooking, the ability to restore the purity of the product without frying and the choice of top quality organic ingredients, will remain our strong point. The expansion of the vegetarian menu and the gluten-free options will welcome the excellence of the neighboring regions. The Tuscan- Emilian Apennines and the innlands of Liguria, with their culinary pearls, will remain the main sources of inspiration.

Una vista strepitosa accompagnata da piatti di pesce freschissimo e saporiti. Lasciatevi coccolare da un personale premuroso e non lasciatevi sfuggire il dolce “il mio viaggio in Thailandia”: vi solleticherà le papille gustative con i suoi contrasti di sapore!

After the religious ceremony in the church of San Pietro, we celebrated the 50th anniversary of our wedding at the Palmaria Restaurant of the Grand Hotel Portovenere. Thanks to the high professionalism of the Ass. Manager Francesco Serpe we were able to organize the event in every detail, drawing up seafood and land menus with attention to the tastes and dietary needs of our guests. The lunch, set up on the elegant veranda with a suggestive sea view, was perfect: the mise en place was refined, the raw materials expertly used by the executive chef were excellent to create exquisite dishes, inspired by the flavors and aromas of Mediterranean cuisine, composed with a sure aesthetic sense in a very successful balance of colors and shapes; the dining room team worked with great professionalism in attentive and effective service and at the end of the lunch they highlighted the cutting of the anniversary cake by kindly setting up an elegant table dedicated to that moment. We couldn't have wished for a better way to celebrate the milestone we've achieved. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
