There were ten of us, including four children. The restaurant makes a really nice and classy impression. Although the restaurant wasn't very busy that Sunday, we had to wait over an hour for our food. The majority of us ordered Wienerschnitzel. Strangely, only one of the children received their food after about 30 minutes, on the grounds that children should get their food first. Nevertheless, only one of the children received his food. Two portions of fries were also delivered, with no clear association with a specific menu. When we asked who ordered the fries or which dish they belonged to, the question was skillfully ignored. When the food finally came after an hour, it was good, but not outstanding and definitely not worth the price: 40 Fr. for a Wienerschnitzel and an additional 8 Fr. for fries. The other children received their food with the adults, which contradicted the previous reasoning. In addition, the first child's portion was larger than our portion, which led us to suspect that the food may have come from a canceled order or from the buffet. Bread, greetings from the kitchen, olives and breadsticks were brought in between, but of course we would have much preferred our main course. The waitress kept apologizing for the long wait. What we found particularly audacious was that we were served two portions of fries that we hadn't ordered, with the reasoning being "so the kids can eat fries while they wait." Of course we were charged for these - 16 francs for two portions of fries that we hadn't ordered is very cheeky. When paying the bill we were asked to pay everything at once and then split it between us. When we asked if the waitress could do this for us, she said it would be better if we did it ourselves and handed us the bill. Poor vegetairian options, half the menu was sold out (at the beginning of the evening), it took 2 hours until our meals were served and the food was fine, but for the price we paid, it was mediocre. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CHF 50–60 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
