...ci siamo fermati in questo locale "Osteria della Pompa" per il pranzo con una compagnia di escursionisti di trekking!!...eravamo circa una trentina!!...il locale è molto caratteristico con personale accogliente e disponibile!!...abbiamo mangiato...mangiato e poi ancora mangiato!!!...fin troppo!!...di tutto e di più!!!...mega buffet self service!!!...e poi le altre portate al tavolo!!...tutto fantastico!!...superconsigliato!!!...

We had lunch in this tavern, After booking, we sit down around 1.30pm. We begin to serve ourselves with the buffet of appetizers, the ones that are now left. Yes exactly, at 1.30/1.40 pm all the starters were practically finished. They were left, the ones that practically no one eats. Usual things in oil and nothing tasty. After tasting the appetizers, in a hurry, they clear the dirty plates to bring us the dish for the first course. A forkful of tagliatelle with meat sauce. Time to finish the first course, they immediately remove the dirty dishes, sometimes not even having time to finish eating. And immediately off with the dish with the second course. A slice of roast and a spoonful of baked potatoes. Once we finish eating, not a minute passes before they immediately remove the dirty dishes. Here comes the dessert. A small square of fruit tart and a piece of bunet. Dirty dishes away and coffee and digestive immediately. Lunch finished. Finished eating within 1h30. I don't understand the reason for this hasty service. I understand that it's Sunday for everyone but if you go to lunch you might want to spend more time and without worrying about the waiter being right behind you to take the plates away from in front of you. Second negative note, the appetizer buffet. For the price one pays, the buffet should always be full. Or at least fill the serving trays twice, so that everyone can eat some. Otherwise, set the same starting time for lunch for everyone, so that those who booked later will no longer find anything to eat. Also because for what I ate, €40 per person, seems a bit excessive to me. Much acclaimed for the number of starters, quantities etc... But we left the restaurant barely full. When you expect something else. Such a pity. Because all in all the dishes that I managed to taste were pleasant. I waited 1 and a half months to be able to have lunch here, and it was really a big disappointment.
