We loved this place, tucked away on a quiet side street near the main piazzas. Great vibe, and we especially loved sitting outside and watching the world go by while drinking great wine:) We went every day that we were in Florence. Truly great wine selections with some hidden gems, all at very reasonable price points and featuring small vineyards in Tuscany and throughout Italy. Highly recommend a tasting, and don't skip the antipasti :) Big thanks to Save and his team for our amazing visit(s) AND the fabulous wines we shipped back to the states. Price per person: €50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Our experience at Oratio and with its incredible staff transformed our entire trip to Florence. We first discovered it near our accommodation, and although they were fully booked for the evening, they graciously allowed us to sneak in for one glass of wine. It didn't take long for us to realize we had stumbled upon a hidden gem, prompting us to make a reservation for the following night. To our surprise, we ended up dining there every evening of our stay—a rarity for us, as we usually prefer to explore new places. But Oratio felt truly special. Each night, we were treated with warmth and care as the team guided us through their impressive wine selections. Their passion for wine left a lasting impression on us, instilling a newfound admiration that we will carry forward. Chantal even went above and beyond to help us secure a last-minute dinner reservation at what became our favorite meal of the trip. Oratio has a few starters which I still crave the sardine board. You truly would be doing yourself a disservice if you dont visit Oratio. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Phenomenal location and overall set up. Nice little nook downstairs feels like you’re in an actual cellar. Let’s now talk about the wine. WOW! What a selection and the bottles are displayed gorgeously everywhere. We each had a tasting and they were both delightful wines. The service was extremely welcoming - so welcoming that we ended up changing our honeymoon plans & going to a recommended beach by one of the staff (who just started working there three days before!). Obviously an eye for good wines and good people. Highly recommend! Price per person: €20–30 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
