I politely asked you if it would be possible for you to take the dog into the corner on the other side of your husband, as it was located across the service aisle and any waiter and/or guest could have unintentionally stepped on it. You didn't really do that, you just left the dog lying across the aisle on the other side. And when I informed you that that wasn't ideal either and whether you could please, as already mentioned, take the dog into the corner with your husband so that nothing happens to him, you couldn't take it anymore and wanted to leave. As a dog owner, I would be happy if other people showed consideration for my four-legged friend, but that seems to be a matter of opinion. And regarding the information that you are coming with a dog: the restaurant can set aside a table in the corner or at least on the edge and make sure that there is no other dog at the neighboring table, because that usually doesn't work out so well. There are supposed to be people who don't like dogs that much or are even afraid of them and when a four-legged friend lies sideways, not everyone likes that and we have to be considerate of all guests. We are very dog-friendly, so your dog was given water (which I offered) straight away before you were even properly seated. We are also very people-friendly, but if you don't agree with a friendly hint that your dog might get under other people's feet if it lies across the restaurant, then that's just the way it is. As already said on site: It's a shame that you don't understand that the dog shouldn't be in the way. And a blonde lady with glasses doesn't work for us. More
