Food was very mediocre, AND I got food poisoning from the best part of the meal, a clam appetizer and spaghetti con vongole. (We shared the clam dishes and I must have eaten a bad one, while my spouse just "enjoyed" the brothy part, as I was up most of the night and he was mildly effected.) I ordered a Caprese salad as one was served to someone at a nearby table at the place we ate the previous day with beautiful red tomatoes (a surprise given time of year), but THIS place offered up hard, mealy pink tomatoes and tried to convince us this was acceptable. We had a bistecca which was mediocre AND overcooked which was accompanied by the waiter's recommended side dish which I reluctantly ordered after he assured me that it was NOT broccoli rabe, which it turned out to be (aka cima di rapa or whatever they called it). The house wine was extremely mediocre. The television and sports posters in the dining room did not contribute to the overall experience. Really enjoyed the meal there. Food was fantastic, wine was also excellent. Waiter Manuel was a super nice guy who spoke excellent English. Would recommend. Not expensive. Must have the Tiramisu as it is homemade by the chef every day. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Tiramisu
If you want to eat at O'Sapurit in the alleys of the neighborhoods you have to go... I went on a Sunday for lunch with my family, a beautiful local family atmosphere with attention to every detail, polite and efficient staff and we want to talk about the food, all excellent, fresh and then an excellent flavor. I recommend it to you Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
