I purchased two Modo Mio coffee machines around two years ago from UK company and both have failed to live up to expectations. I gave one to a friend who has consistently reported poor performance but mine has been more problematic since the beginning. I have only used it 12 times and am now consigning it to the bin. It has always leaked from the bottom of the machine and now does not work at all. When I contacted UK office in Middlesex just after it's first anniversary I was told to descale it which I had done - making no difference at all. To me it seems dangerous to have leaks with an electrical item. To spend over £200 on two items hardly used because of shoddy performance is really poor company service.
