non posso che accodarmi alle recensioni positive lette su questo luogo e il cibo che offre! se siete celiaci e/o intolleranti al lattosio, andateci subito. aggiungo anche una postilla alla signora che ha servito me e mia madre, veramente gentile e disponibile!! torneremo presto (spero) PS: qualora vogliate far colazione, sottolineo che questo è un forno, pertanto ha una panchina fuori ma nulla di più per sostare. New Food Gluten Free - Ponte Sisto was amazing! They offered many gluten free options, not just bread or pasta, but actual Italian foods like cornetto, pizza, crostata, cream stuffed muffin-like pastry, etc. But the best I had was the maritozzi!!! These gluten free maritozzi were by far better than the regular gluten containing maritozzi I had from other bakeries. This location is small so if there is a line/queue it forms onto the narrow sidewalk outside, but it moves quickly as the staff is very knowledgeable about allergies and helped guide us through our options. I didn't get her name, but the woman that served us 3 out of the 4 times we visited in a week (that's right, this place is that great that we kept coming back) had the most lovely attitude and patience to handle all of our questions about allergies and all while trying to translate our very limited Italian (her English was great so it was a blessing for us). She wore a red handband and I hope she doesn't mind me saying, she was only slightly older (she could have been my mom, not grandmother). She is the best! So kind and helpful. When I thanked her for her patience with us, she simply replied with a smile and said "it's my job." As in, no extra effort required and she was happy to help us to ensure we were satisfied. And we were!!! The only thing I can say for improvement is that they have many lactose free items, but not many dairy free items. But that is Europe in general, so not a fault of this bakery. Regardless, we'll definitely be back if we're lucky enough to ever return to the Eternal City! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Order type: Takeaway Meal type: Breakfast
