40+ countries and counting, 250k+ Insta friends along the way. If you’re new here, we are Vibrant Wanderers (would love to connect on Insta), and we’re so glad you’re here for this honest review. We visited Namaste Bistro, an Indian restaurant we stumbled upon after a disappointing afternoon. Despite usually skipping Indian food while traveling, we were quite hungry. We ordered a chicken tikka masala, which was okay, and some parathas. But the real letdown was the Indian veg biryani we expected a rich, flavorful biryani, but what we got was just a plain, bland pilaf. When we politely requested a change, the staff was shockingly rude we were told we’d have to either ‘force it down the throat’ or take it with us (the option we chose , take away to give it away to some one in need) which is absolutely unacceptable in hospitality. As we were still hungry, we ordered a chicken lababdar and another portion of parathas, which were passable but nothing special. Then, I used the washroom, and it was honestly appalling clearly not cleaned in more than 4 months. If the washrooms were in that state, I couldn’t help but worry about the kitchen hygiene. Overall, it was a major disappointment. We’d give Namaste Bistro 1 out of 5 stars and definitely wouldn’t recommend it. Service aside, the hygiene was a big red flag. Spent 70 EUROS for one course meal . Price per person: €30–35 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1 Vegetarian options: Limited Dietary restrictions: No
