This modern take on a family trattoria on a smaller less busy square provides great seating for people watching while enjoying excellent food. Our Monday night experience included Cannelloni and Spicola Mediterranean. Both were properly prepared and good portion sized. Gluten-free options abound (including French fries and bread) Decent Wine was 6euro and a nice Negroni was 8euro. Friendly and attentive service rounded it out for a nice evening. My favorite restaurant in Sorrento! The food is amazing here, I went back 4 times to try different meals, and every time, it was simply fantastic! I wish I was staying longer so I could try every item on the menu. The staff are wonderful as well, so attentive and friendly and genuine. The atmosphere is great too, nice calming colors, nice decor, good light, walls open to let sun and breeze in. I tried two of their specials, and one off the menu, as well as two deserts throughout my visits: pasta with zucchini cream, tuna tartar and stracciata cheese (super delicious!), black cuttlefish pasta with baby octopus cooked in tomato sauce (amazing!), caprese salad with fresh mozarella which had baby tomatoes inside (delicuous, and the sauce that came with was especially yummy), seabass which is served with a simple yet amazing sauce and cherry tomatoes (I was dipping my bread in the sauce to get every little taste!). I tried Panna Cotta and Tiramisu, which were both some of the best I've ever had, not too sweet, freshly made, and quality ingredients. All the food is fresh, high quality, and prepared with love and care. Which is the beauty of good Italian food. Also try the limoncello, homemade in the owner's village, it's one of the best I had. Thank you Alessia, Rosaria, and Dominico for your excellent service and thank you Luigi for the food! During our recent visit to Sorrento, I had the pleasure of having lunch at Nalù Trattoria Italiana, a true gem in the heart of the city. This restaurant stands out not only for its authentic Italian cuisine, but also for its welcoming atmosphere and exceptional service. The menu offers a wide range of traditional Sorrento dishes, prepared with fresh and seasonal ingredients, which tell the story and local culinary traditions. Among the specialties tried, the fresh homemade pasta with the fish of the day will remain an unforgettable memory of my trip. The warm welcome and attention to detail from the staff made my experience even more pleasant. Nalù Trattoria Italiana is a must-see for anyone visiting Sorrento and wanting to immerse themselves in the authentic flavors and hospitality of the city. We can't wait to go back.
