Shocked by the filth of the place and the treatment I received in this restaurant! Last night, I went to the McDonald’s in Lausanne station to order a menu. Since the McRaclette is making a comeback, I decide to order a röstis version of the menu, with an extra cocktail sauce. After placing an order, I found myself unable to find a clean place with a cleaned table, the restaurant being in a deplorable state (not to mention the toilets which were unusable). After receiving the menus and providing my ticket, I return to the counter to kindly inform a member of staff (who happens to be the manager) that a cocktail sauce is missing, to which I am told no. I insisted that I had not received it and invited the “manager” to come and check. He ended up giving me one, with my thanks. When it was time to eat the McRaclette, I noticed that the rostis pancake was missing and informed a member of staff not far from me. He then puts down his paper towel that he has just used to clean the table of a customer who complained about the unsanitary conditions and approaches me. When I tell him that the patty is missing, he allows himself, without my consent, to open my burger with his fingers to verify my statements because according to him "there are some who lie", all while touching my fries on the inside. proximity to the burger. Stunned by his reaction and his lack of communication, I told him I was a little shocked by the situation. He then assures me to prepare another burger. Less than a minute later, he brings me a new burger with the röstis version. Surprised by the speed of the preparation, I opened the burger and noticed that he had simply added the rösti patty to my burger in which he stuck his fingers. I immediately went to the counter to complain and saw the salesman reporting the facts to his colleagues, visibly very amused by the situation. I then place the burger on the counter and tell the seller that I am being taken for an imbecile. Once again, communication does not seem to be there and I decide to return to my table. The “manager” comes to try to understand the situation (although he seems perfectly aware since his colleague told him about it). He tells me to personally prepare my burger, which I refuse, for fear of further disappointment. He assures me that he “manages the restaurant” and then invites me to come to the kitchen to see how my burger is prepared. I refused about ten times (yes) and began to be very annoyed by the lack of professionalism of the establishment. After a heated exchange, I asked to be reimbursed and the “manager” asked me if I wanted to be reimbursed for the entire menu or just the burger, once again demonstrating the lack of professionalism of the establishment. I tell him that the decision is his, reminding him that he told me to “manage the restaurant”. I won't be returning to this McDonald's anytime soon, at least not in this state!
