Very small place with two small tables. Good bakery! Stopped here waiting for lunch at 11:30am. Owner (man) not very smiley but speaks English, and helpful which is good enough for me. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
The owner is clearly against tourism and treats his guests that way. He wants everybody to pay cash, and if someone wants to pay by card, he loses his mind and attacks verbally. I am Swiss, speak the local language, and helped the tourists in the queue in front of me. Please avoid this coffee place. Most importantly, he serves his coffee with milk powder, I think this says it all... Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
I went here for coffee. Upon entering, an older gentleman, who’s either the owner or just works here, made a rude comment about me being an unintelligent American. I tried to be polite and just move on. Then I asked if they serve Flat White. He paused and said “yes” in a way that seemed like he was lying. He had me pay upfront, then walked to the coffeemaker and pressed “milk coffee”. They do not serve Flat White. He handed me the coffee and asked me to leave. The ask was reasonable due to the only 2 tables being occupied, but at this point I was disgusted with the unprecedented lack of manners. I’m sure the café can withstand this behavior. He can be rude to every customer because it’s a vacation town where the customers will be replaced by the next visitor. The café is nice, but I would not recommend the rude, demeaning, untruthful older gentleman. There are other poor reviews that speak to the same rudeness and his distaste for Americans.
