Vedere il Hinterdorfstrasse esige tempo e fatica, perciò se una volta fatto dovesse prenderti fame, vieni in questo ristorante per un pasto saporito. Se sei un amante della cucina francese e mediterranea devi venire qui. Se vai al ristorante Ambassador Zermatt, chiedi i curatissimi filetto americano, bacon e omelettes. Trascorri il tempo gradevolmente qui, godendoti ineguagliabile parfait con gli amici. Fantastici caffè o tè sono ciò che potrebbe farti venire di nuovo in questo locale.
Il piacevole personale lavora duramente, ha un atteggiamento positivo e rende questo posto meraviglioso. Questo ristorante assicura ai suoi visitatori un encomiabile servizio. Sembra che qui i prezzi siano ottimi. Potrai apprezzare un arredamento carinissimo e un ambiente gradevole in questo posto. Hotel Ambassador is very conveniently located 1 min away from the railway station on the main street with most restaurants and shops. We got a Matterhorn view room, which thanks to the clear weather led to a stunning Matterhorn view in the afternoon and morning. That said, it claims to be a 4-star hotel, but can't live up to that rating. Reception staff is nice and courteous. The feel of the hotel is dark and dated. Our double room size was OK. It was too dark (couldn't read the locker code in the closet, it needs a closet light), with a rotten bathroom door frame and mould. The upholstery of the chair needs a big redo, see pic. Shower head was good. Towel size adequate, but it wasn't fluffy. Poor amenities and pillows too bulky, no pillow choice. Sauna experience was poor: it was too small and only open 08:00-20:00. I was kicked out by unpleasant staff at 19:58. Breakfast room looked cheap, like an American motel, with average breakfast quality, no eggs made too order, very limited fruit selection, no humus and special dishes, etc. So the hotel experience is quite middle of the road. It doesn't justfy a double room rate of CHF 450 (around €500) a night, not even in Zermatt. Overall, a nicely located middle of the road hotel, too expensive for the experience. Service: 3

I found my stay at the Ambassador Zermatt to be most enjoyable. The guest rooms an comfortable and very clean. The Entire staff was professional and friendly. If you like swimming pools, you will definitely like the indoor pool @ Ambassador. The hotel is perfectly located near transportation, food, shopping, and to mountain access. If you are planning a trip to Zermatt, I recommend considering staying at the Ambassador. Service: 5
