Very nice and easy restaurant with amazing, creative food. Every time we go there, we are surprised by the combination of flavors and the beauty of the dishes. Eight hours of wandering the streets of Basel searching for culture, experiences and sights, I was ready for a beer and a bite. I arrived at Matt & Elly during the pre-dinner time when they have a very limited menu. I did not want a burger so I stuck with the beer and the wifi for an hour or two. By the time for the kitchen to open, I was ready to head somewhere else. Delicious craft beers, a friendly bartender who spoke perfect English, a comfortable space to sit inside (heated area outside) and a speedy wifi. This was a superior spot.
