We just had a lovely dinner at the Veranda restaurant in Hotel du Lac. We enjoyed sitting outside overlooking the gardens and lake, and the food matched the views. My wife had the sea bass and I had the poularde. Both were excellent. The local merlot wine was a terrific complement. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CHF 100+ Kid-friendliness: We noticed a young couple with their two year-old daughter, eating at a table near us. They have been at the hotel for a couple of days and seem to be enjoying it immensely!

La Veranda, a Grand Hotel du Lac restaurant matches the exquisite decor of the hotel with a refined as well as comfortable setting offering fine dining. Service is welcoming. La Veranda offers comfort and excellence in cuisine. Try tuna tartare, perch and veal cordon blue. Their version of strawberry short cake too. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch
