Ottima gelateria con grande varietà di gusti e alcuni sono anche innovativi . Ci si può sfiziare a comporre coni con gusti alternativi . Molto intensi i gusti e piacevoli al palato . Il locale di per sé è piccolo e nn offre sedute ma il piccolo parco di largo beltramelli , con i suoi muretti e panchine è la location perfetta per gustare il gelato all'ombra degli alberi. Vale la visita .

Went there on October 13, 2022. It was our last evening in Rome with my boyfriend. Unfortunately - not a good experience: - The personnel didn't speak good enough English. - I ordered certain type of portion, which I've discussed with the personnel earlier. My boyfriend ordered the same portion 2 minutes before me, so I thought there couldn't be any misunderstanding. However they gave me larger portion which I didn't even know they offer. It was much larger than my boyfriend's portion. - Even before I realized the misunderstanding, the boy on the pay-desk started almost yelling to my boyfriend to give more money, since my boyfriend has already payed for the two portions we THOUGHT we ordered. - After I realized the mistake on their side, I simply tried to explain the misunderstanding. I didn't even want to give back the large portion and receive what I wanted in the first place, nor we refused do give the extra money. All I wanted was to simply bring understanding regarding the mistake they did. That only irritated the boy on the pay-desk even more. He got aggressive, he yelled at me and my boyfriend and he even threw the receipt almost in my boyfriend's face. - My boyfriend told him to calm down and that there's no reason for such behavior and gave him the extra money. Once the boy got the money, he turned his back on us. - Not only that, in the end - the gelato wasn't even that good. I went to Mamo because there was a long line in the other gelateria across Mamo - the one I've been told was the best in Rome. Well, may be I should have waited in the line. NB - The main reason I give only 1 star is the behavior of the boy on the pay-desk. I hope the owner of Gelateria Mamo reads this comment, checks who was on shift in the evening on October 13 and takes according actions.
