Needing an almond croissant and coffee fix, I went the distance (literally) to this google recommended cafe in Zurich. Sadly to say, I did not get the fix I wanted. The croissant was perhaps the least favourite I have had in years cos it was quite fluff and just empty carbs with lacking substance. Coffee was decent, and the saving grace would be the warm friendliness of the staff. And when I related my spending (CHF14.75 = SGD$23.50) and experience later to a local Swiss friend, I was told I might have been reaped off for the price I paid for just a usual coffee and less than satisfactorily almond croissant ? It was indeed super expensive, though in my case. Service: Dine in Price per person: CHF 10–20 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

We're sorry to hear that our almond croissant didn’t meet your expectations - we work with a local atelier and aim to offer fresh, quality pastries, but we understand that tastes vary and we clearly missed the mark for you. Regarding the pricing: Zurich cafés (and Switzerland in general) do run higher than what many international visitors are used to, and I understand how that can be surprising. That said, we’re glad to hear our team made you feel welcome - that part means a lot to us. Easily one of the best cafes I’ve ever been to. We tried the “Full Bloom” flight of various drinks, all excellently dialled in to perfection. Beautiful nutty flavour and smooth velvety steamed milk. We also tried the “Pacamara” as a macchiato, which had delicious blackcurrant and plum notes. Service, presentation of drinks and latte art were all fantastic. Thank you MAME Josef!! Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: CHF 10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Flight, Pastries Dietary restrictions: They offer various milks and types of coffees for any restriction.
