The hall in which we set up the fondue restaurant was built around 20-30 years ago and was decorated accordingly to create an atmospheric atmosphere. For your starter: You ordered white sausages with pretzels. Maybe you weren't familiar with this Bavarian specialty and were expecting something different, like bratwursts. We can understand your disappointment in this case. However, our white sausages come from the renowned Jenzer butcher shop, which is known for its excellent quality and is also highly valued in professional circles. The taste of white sausages is special, and if you don't know this sausage specialty, it may well happen that you don't like them. To keep the sausages hot for as long as possible, we traditionally serve them in a bowl of hot water. We also regret that you did not like our cheese fondue. We get the fondue mixture from one of the best cheese shops in Basel and regularly receive compliments from guests - including Swiss customers. The price for the dishes you order is as follows: white sausages CHF 10.50 and cheese fondue CHF 29.50 per portion. In addition, drinks and other things were also included on your bill, which explains the total amount of CHF 58.80. We have consulted internally, but no one on our team can recall a hair in the fondue being reported. We take such allegations very seriously and regret that this has had a negative impact on your impression.
