Lou’s is my go-to spot for comfort food in Zurich, and their American fare truly hits the mark. The quality is top-notch, with NY-sized pastrami sandwiches and Philly cheesesteaks that are absolutely to die for. Each bite is a nurturing to the soul and stomach! If you’re craving hearty and satisfying dishes, don’t skip out on this one! I had a great experience at this restaurant! I ordered the Smash Burger, which was absolutely delicious – juicy, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. The pancake was also a highlight, large in size and perfectly flavored. Overall, a fantastic visit, and I can highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. This is one of my fav comfort food restaurants in Zurich! The food is excellent (love the chicken and waffles) and the staff is super nice and really doing their best! That being said, I gave the service 3* because I think they’re short staffed for the size of the restaurant at full capacity. It’s really not pleasant to wait 20’ for drinks and i lost track how long we waited for the food. I’ve been to the place at least 5 times now and when it’s not a super busy day it’s fine, but when the restaurant is full, I would think you need a bigger service staff.
