I came here as an American. The place is warm and welcoming. I ordered the guacamole and tortillas at the last minute and the chef obliged me. There was a regular there who was hitting on me. He was nice at first. Once he found out I was not interested he insulted my food choice and called me stout. It was rather uncomfortable. I was so embarrassed that I left the food there. I will not be back to this restaurant as long as he is a regular patron. He also mentioned that that candy on the bar is of “racist” ancestry. He was an Indian man. Super weird and uncomfortable.

Dear Mercedes, We are saddened to hear from your experience here and want to separate ourselves from whatever the aforementioned man said or did. Neither the chef nor anybody else want to be associated with him: He is not a regular. You‘re in every right to be disturbed - but not with us, not with our restaurant. With a guy who won’t be here next time. In that spirit: we‘d welcome you tomorrow for another bowl of tortillas. And a drink on your choice. always welcome claude & team
