Lele is a new restaurant offering Italian / European cuisine. It's a nice place, and worth a visit. I visited during it's soft-opening period, I'm not sure when its formal launch is planned, but I guess it'll be soon.It's clear pretty quickly that the food is the star here. Top quality food, with carefully balanced fresh ingredients. I had the Burratta, and a pizza. The Burratta was on the menu twice, once with tomato and also with Beetroot, I tried both; both were excellent, though pairing with a slightly stronger olive oil could have further enhanced them. The pizza was a blanco, which I didn't pick up from the menu, and too crispy in the base to be a classic Naples style, but pretty decent if New York is your preferred pizza type. My comments shouldn't be misinterpreted, the food here was some of the best I've eaten in Zurich.The restaurant itself is a little disappointing from a location and decor perspective; it's a little far from Langstrasse to catch much casual traffic, however the decor appears to be aimed at high-volume ah-hoc visits. I hope that once they get running properly the decor can be adjusted upwards to better suit the food.
