Classica trattoria Romana a conduzione familiare, buona la cucina con piatti classici ed abbondanti. Le pizze sottilissime ben condite e cotte al punto giusto. I dolci non sono il loro forte, potrebbero rovinare il buon pasto appena concluso. Price per person: €20–30

Di passaggio a Roma per lavoro ho trovato tutto molto buono, carbonara, bistecca(ottima carne), servizio è cortesia.

An experience that, unfortunately, will not be quickly forgotten. We ended up here by chance on a Sunday in May, for lunch, chosen precisely because it was full and it could be a good sign. Instinct played a bad trick on us this time. The welcome was good, they immediately found us a table for 2 and they were also quick to take the order. The positive part ends here. They miss our seafood appetizers and when we see the table next to us being served, having arrived and therefore ordered long after us, we ask the waiter who apologizes and immediately brings the dishes. After exactly 2 minutes the first courses also arrive and everything is there together on the table, without many compliments. We quickly eat the starter which was nothing special, standard and all very unseasonable and we move on to the first courses. The scampi risotto was rather bland and "creamy" but the worst thing was the spaghetti alla zingarella. Could this be the flagship dish that bears the name of the restaurant??? Slight presence of sand from the clams that crunched in the mouth and you also found it in the sauce made of insipid tomato puree which drowned the pasta (with the puree? Are you kidding me?) and which canceled out the flavor of the molluscs, abundant but perhaps placed on top for decoration , certainly not cooked together. They take away the half-full plate without even asking what happened, usually asked when a customer doesn't seem satisfied. The fried fish, on the other hand, was discreet. We escape without ordering coffee and dessert and go to pay the bill: 2 seafood appetizers, half a portion of rice with scampi, a whole portion of spaghetti, a fried dish, water and 1/4 of white for 65 euros.
