With Samhain and the end of the summer season, what could be better than slipping into a place that has completely changed its look? L’Épi Dorée, true to its roots, remains in family hands. Now led by a young baker who took over his parents' business, it continues to uphold the spirit of the neighborhood. There we find the authenticity of know-how transmitted with passion, where each delicacy tells a story. The decoration is beautiful and sincere, without frills or fuss, a bit like a promise of benevolent simplicity. That’s what we love about L’Épi doré: this honest and warm atmosphere that makes you want to sit down for a while, with a coffee in hand. Inside, a few high stools facing outwards, bistro tables, and chairs with comfortable seats, perfect for a gourmet break. The background music is just loud enough, adding a rhythm of life without ever breaking the calm of this little cocoon. Throughout the morning, little hands are busy behind the stalls and in the back room. Sometimes we glimpse a helping hand here, a smile there.
