We had brunch here on a Saturday. The menu was pretty limited and the food mediocre at best. I ordered a chicken salad. It came in a large bowl with 7 strips of chicken meat, and 95% green salad, with a few other ingredients sprinkled here and there. For CHF 30, that’s outrageous. The ambience was nothing special. The bartender’s attitude was snobbish (I don’t know why I was surprised. We’re in Zurich after all), but our waitress was wonderful. I don’t think I’m coming back. Meal type: Brunch Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

A little hidden gem on the outskirts of town. I was a bit sceptical, but I ordered the onsen egg with spinach anyway. These days, every poached egg seems to be called an ‘onsen egg’, but here it really is one. And what a dish – absolutely spot on. The service was a bit slow, but the quality of the breakfast was top-notch.

We held our company Christmas party at Kornsilo and we are thrilled. The entire team was friendly, courteous, and very attentive. The food was delicious and our requests were also taken into account. We felt very comfortable and would visit Kornsilo again anytime. Thank you Salma and the entire event, kitchen, and service team. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
