Kennedy's Irish Pub

Buongiorno signor Filoso, I hope you're well.As always with negative (and positive) reviews, I asked my staff about the situation to ensure we're doing things right!As it was a Sunday (Holiday) yesterday, at this time in the afternoon we only have one staff working as the town is pretty empty. Due to this, to make it clear for our valued guests, we put simple signs on every table saying PLEASE ORDER AT THE BAR. This is to ensure service is kept simple, so if the one staff member working is suddenly very busy, everything is under control. As Kennedy's is so big, with a huge outside area too, it's impossible for the server to be everywhere at the same time so we concentrate service from one place, the bar. We make your drinks while you wait, and bring out the food to your table once it's been cooked. You could just say it's pub service, a lot of pub guests expect and even want this service and are even surprised to find that they may order from the table in a pub for 80% of our opening hours! Maybe you didn't understand the sign, or maybe you don't like pub service, either way it is clearly pointed out how it works at Kennedy's and we don't feel that a 1/5 review is fair! I'm sorry if this style of service doesn't work for you, consistency is key for us to be successful and so sticking to our clear working systems is critical. The closed door you opened to leave through is also clearly labelled with two large signs saying EMERGENCY EXIT ONLY / NOTAUSAGANG.Regards, Kennedy's team
