Siamo stati benissimo! Bella camera , confortevole . Bella la vista del Cervino dal balcone, anche se avere una camera un piano più sopra sarebbe stato ancora meglio.

Appartamento Jägerhoh molto bello pulito e spazioso.Arredamento moderno e confortevole vista bellissima dalla finestra e balcone.

Jägerhof Hotel & Apartements - Zermatt From the moment we arrived at the Jägerhof Hotel & Apartements in Zermatt, we knew we were in for an exceptional experience. The journey was recommended by a friendly lady at the train station, who has been a part of the Zermatt travel scene for over 20 years. Her recommendation turned out to be spot-on. Location and Ambiance: Strategically located at Steinmattstrasse 85, the hotel is not only close to the heart of Zermatt but also in excellent proximity to the ski lifts and train station. This makes it an ideal base for both skiing enthusiasts and those looking to explore the scenic surroundings. The Matterhorn Express cable car is just a 5-minute walk away, and the Sunnegga Bahn is about 10 minutes on foot. The hotel offers a little shuttle service with a private electric car to whisk you to and from the train station, ensuring a hassle-free entry and exit from this car-free village. The Room: Our room was nothing short of amazing - spacious, reminiscent of American standards, and impeccably clean. The view from our window was genuinely breathtaking, with the Matterhorn standing majestically in the distance. It was a daily reminder of why Zermatt is such a sought-after destination. The decor was cute, with rustic touches that made the room feel cozy yet chic, enhancing the overall experience of staying in this mountain retreat. Service: The front desk personnel were not only friendly but also incredibly helpful, going out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable. Their warmth and attentiveness were a highlight, making every interaction pleasant and informative. Dining Experience at Jägerhof: While the hotel itself doesn't have a restaurant mentioned on their site, they do offer a half-board menu in the evening, starting the day with a delicious late breakfast. However, our nights were spent savoring the atmosphere at Elsie's Wine & Champagne Bar nearby. This bar, located at Kirchplatz 16, was an unexpected delight. With its intimate setting, it felt like stepping into a culinary haven. The service at Elsie's was as impressive as at Jägerhof, with the staff providing a gourmet experience that included dishes like Bison Filet and Truffle Risotto, all paired perfectly with their selection of wines and champagnes. The hot wine served here was a highlight, adding warmth to the cold Zermatt evenings. Additional Amenities: Jägerhof offers a range of amenities that cater to both relaxation and activity. The fitness room was a nice touch for those looking to maintain their routine, and the shuttle service from the train station was a thoughtful addition, especially given Zermatt's car-free policy. Overall Experience: This hotel is an underrated gem in Zermatt. Its combination of excellent service, strategic location near ski lifts and the train, and the promise of a comfortable, memorable stay made our time here exceptionally enjoyable. The price was quite reasonable for the quality and experience provided, making it not just a good choice but a great recommendation for anyone looking to experience Zermatt in comfort and style.
